Luiza Holub

Luiza Holub is a Sheffield artist, printmaker and designer.
Influenced by her background in Fine Art her work is bold in colour, yet simple in composition - contemporary with a nod to the traditional.

Inspiration comes from the everyday. Still life, people and botanicals fill up paper and each subject is celebrated with texture and colour through the handmade process of drawing, hand printing and cut outs.

We have been mesmerised by Luiza's prints for a while, along with most of our family. There is something very special about the hand printed technique, and use of cut outs that makes each piece authentic, raw and beautiful. The colours Luiza uses work so well together, and we are tempted by each new design she makes.
