ECO ETHOS

 

We are thrilled to have hosted our first Eco-Conscious Market. Since we started LMM in February, we have tried to curate markets which showcase a whole range of creative small businesses, with a particular focus on those striving to become more eco-conscious. ⁠

It is hard to be fully sustainable, but all of the makers involved in our October Market have an eco ethos at heart, and are pushing to make their businesses more eco-friendly. Even little steps, like using compostable or recycled packaging, buying from local suppliers, working with recycled materials and durable fabrics or making pieces to order can often bring surprising results.⁠

With the handmade, small batch element to most of these products, it often means that they are one of a kind, and not something readily available on the high street.
